Zell am See Overview
Zell am See is a stunning medieval lakeside village and has a vibrant atmosphere. The center of the village is pedestrianised and has a host of shops., cafes, bars and restaurants as well as stunning views of Lake Zell on the waterfront promenade exploring the cobbled stoned streets offers may great photo opportunities
Gentle slopes and excellent ski schools make Zell am See a popular choice for families and first-timers, yet it also offers some great pistes for the intermediate / advanced levels especially on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier which is covered in your ski pass
Once up the mountain you can ski down whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the lake
The après ski and nightlife scene is also very lively with many bars dotted around in the pedestrian area

Things to do in Zell am See
The resort offers many après ski activities such as Ice hockey games, bowling. Ice skating, Leisure center, Museum, Market, Swimming Pool, floodlit skiing, Nordic walking, Cross country skiing, Paragliding
There are many restaurants to eat out in and it's recommended to make a reservation especially in high season. Try Kupferkessel restaurant which is popular for its reasonably-priced pizza, pasta, fish and chargrilled steaks

Villa Crazy Daisy - Great atmosphere here with its live music, guest DJs and roof terrace with stunning views of the lake
GinHouse - It's got almost 500 gins which they make various cocktails from so definitely worth a try. Part of the Hotel Heitzmann which also offers a great restaurant

Airport Transfers - How to get to Zell am See
We can organise your transfers from Salzburg airport, Innsbruck airport or Munich airport. You can also choose between a shuttle transfer which can be more economical if only a few people are travelling or a private transfer which will take you direct from the airport to your accommodation.

Distance to Munich Airport: 200km
If you are making your own way to the resort by car - make sure you have the "Vignette" sticker as you will need this to travel on the highways in Austria otherwise you would receive a fine.
