Val Thorens Overview
Val Thorens is part of the Three Valleys ski area, which offers an impressive 600 km of slopes connected by modern, fast lifts. Thanks to the high altitude of this ski resort, excellent snow conditions are guaranteed throughout the season. The terrain of this ski resort is suitable for skiers of all levels, from those trying this activity for the first time, to intermediate skiers, through to the most experienced. In this resort, you can also ski on ice, at the Glacier de Peclet, where freeride skiing enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy. The town of Val Thorens is compact and surrounded by beautiful peaks that you can admire directly from the village, which offers many ski-in/ski-out accommodations thanks to its immediate proximity to the ski slopes. Activities - Among the activities you can try here in Val Thorens are ski touring, freeride skiing, snowshoe walking, winter biking, snow tubing, ice climbing, ice skating, ice driving, ice karting and skidooing. For adrenaline junkies, there is also a zip line to try. To relax, you can visit the leisure center with its swimming pool, enjoy a film at the local cinema or challenge your family or friends to a game of bowling. There is also the option of taking a helicopter flight.
