Canazei Overview
Canazei is a typical mountain village, located in Val di Fassa, of which it is the largest locality and also the best known.
The town is surrounded by a breathtaking panorama, thanks to the presence of the Sella Group, Gran Vernel and Marmolada massifs.
The Canazei ski resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski group. In addition to the slopes of the Canazei area, particularly suitable for intermediate skiers, but also for beginners or more experienced ones, guests can enjoy easy access to both the slopes of Selva di Val Gardena and those of Arraba and the Marmolada glacier.
The village of Canazei offers two styles: a modern one, with its elegant hotels, fine restaurants and bars and shops, and the older style of the old town with its typical architecture and small craft shops. This duality is the specialty of Canazei and makes it a great place for your skiing holidays.
Canazei is the ideal place for lovers of typical Italian and Austrian cuisine: in fact, there are many excellent restaurants where you can taste pasta, pizza and other typical dishes.
Canazei offers a great après-ski and nightlife scene, offering both quieter places to enjoy an excellent glass of wine and lively discos to let loose.
