Bardonecchia Overview
Bardonecchia is a small town that is active all year round, as it is not just a ski resort. For this reason it does not have the classic appearance of an alpine village, but thanks to its liveliness you will find plenty to do and see. This place also hosted the Snowboard Olympics in 2006.
The Bardonecchia ski resort is ideal for those who do not like overly crowded ski slopes: in fact, Bardonecchia is one of the least known Italian ski resorts and for this reason its 100km of slopes immersed in fir forests are never too crowded with people. This location is suitable for skiers of all levels, although it is particularly fun for novice skiers thanks to the presence of nursery areas and easy blue slopes and for advanced skiers looking for red slopes to curve on.
Bardonecchia is particularly suitable for families with children, thanks to its wide range of activities to do in addition to skiing and snowboarding.
It is also the perfect place for those who love good food: there are in fact more than 50 restaurants to choose from. Bardonecchia is famous for its typical food, such as polenta and cheese.
As for nightlife, Bardonecchia offers some spots where you can have great drinks and dance, even if it is not among the most known places for apres-ski.
